Q: Is there any way to register for the EFP without performing the passport vetting?
A: The passport verification step is currently a mandatory part of the onboarding process for every user, regardless of the assurance level offered by the home identity provider or by any national eIDAS scheme.
The verification only needs to be completed once, and the application can be uninstalled immediately afterwards.
The EFP is working on making more options available for users to register to the platform.
